Cool Cool

Cool was fun this year!  Not easy for me but that can be expected.  Perhaps similar to our buddy Mike, but even more so, I am not prepared for this season.  Time eludes me and my priorities are still not aligned with racing but I'm going to keep working on weaving it in and maybe next year this report will be different.  After taking 2011 off from racing (and most of 2010 - my last race was the Tamarancho Race June '10), I felt better at the end of this race than I felt last time &…

In fact, my favorite part of the race was when a random racer informed me I had… Continue

Cool Mountain Bike Race

This was a great race...course for me! So much fun and I can't wait for next year! I really enjoyed the diversity of trails and although my bike wasn't too happy I had fun

in the mud. I have to admit around mile 5 of the first lap I looked down at my

computer hoping the odometer would tell me I was almost finished with the first

10 miles. Clearly this race demonstrated to me how much work I have to do in
